Green Habitat Solutions is introducing the Yurt into the Australian landscape with a new and innovative point of view for temporary structures in a contemporary setting.

A Yurt /Tent has a substantial timber (Willow) frame which is light, collapsible and very strong. Because they are well insulated with pure wool felt, they are warm in winter and cool in summer. A large 6 mtr. Yurt can be erected in as little as 1.5 hrs and dismantled in 45min. with 3 persons.

We would suggest that a Yurt could be used for a number of contemporary applications including a; Spa/Bath-house, a Gazebo, a Pavilion or a Summer House, a Market Restaurant and Food Venue, or Temporary Accommodation.
For the winter they can be used for Snow Camping and Cross Country Skiing. There are also applications for theatre and Music Performances, Festivals and Ceremonies.
Other ideal uses are for Workshop and Meditation spaces, or quiet Story Telling for school children.

In most cases a permit is not required as a Yurt is classed as a tent, a place of assembly or a temporary structure.

The Yurt will add a dimension to your living mode that could prove to be very practical and attractive, both in terms of cultural interest and a spectacle worthy of acclaim.

Green Habitat Solutions can offer individual colours and designs to suit your application and purpose. Doors and windows are made to order with motifs, logos and symbols traditional to Mongolia, applied as specified. Carpets and furniture are also available with traditional designs and a large range of choices to create very intimate and exotic spaces.

We will prepare a quote according to your design details.
