Yurts In Antarctica

This is a surprising story(or not so), as it began as a ”How about this for an idea” and finished up being a reality. Here is the LAST remaining photo of the 6 Yurts as they appeared on the Bellingshauser Peninsular in summer 2003. The next season of 2004, was a disaster as they were not secured down as specified for the 2003 season and were blown away during a fierce storm. As they say in Mongolia ”Don’t walk away from your untethered Camel!!!
